Events

A quorum of members of the Board of Directors (Board) of the Texas Space Commission (Commission) will be present at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Texas A&M University Space Institute. Members will attend solely in a ceremonial capacity.

Consistent with the ceremonial-event exclusion in Texas Government Code § 551.001(4)(B), no meeting  of the Board will be convened. The Board will not meet to deliberate or conduct Commission business, make decisions, or take any vote or other formal action. Any references to public business in ceremonial remarks will be incidental to the event.

The Board of Directors of the Texas Space Commission will hold a public meeting under Section 551.127, Texas Government Code with the open portion of the meeting available to the public in person and via livestream.
